Delivery was 11 days to the UK, and this is with a few days back and forth with customer services, making sure I didn't pay charges on import (if you use DHL Priority this will happen - apparently) As it turns out, it appears to have shipped from London? Not sure how this works, but I dont care, I've got my P9000!!!
Build quality appears to be great, feels solid like any big name brands (I am replacing a Sony Xperia, and I have an iPhone 6 for work). The phone is quick, with loads of free space, as the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is standard version, so its not filled up with loads of apps you don't want and cannot remove, I even had to choose and install a weather app.
There is over 25GB of storage left on the phone, and my 32GB memory card went straight in no problems.
Nice touches, comes with a flexible plastic case, which clips onto the back, similar to the type many people use on an iPhone, it feels like PVC, but I can't be sure, its transparent, no colour at all, all cut outs on the back are there, and it helps to protect the back camera lens, which is now flush to the case, rather than protruding as little. The front edge of this case protrudes slightly, so placing it screen down with the case on, means the screen is not touching the surface. You'll need to completely empty the box to find this case, glad I did!

The product comes in a metal box wrapped with plastic only
Maybe he should add a few layers of paper and then wrap in plastic packaging.
The phone looks impressive with excellent build quality it comes only with a C-type cable.
The screen of YouTube videos look good and who loves vibrant color screen would impress him.
Superior handsfree sound and strong, but surprisingly the sound of the headphones just bomb
I took the headphones NIS 20 super simple and sounds just wow
I can not believe I got more iPhone 5s
Fall comes from the camera, the images appear dark and not enough high-quality camera relatively slow
I hope that the updates coming improves camera, Sony camera I expected more.
Who is it essential thing for him not to buy this phone, take a more familiar name who have experienced so.
Again I repeat I came to the iPhone and Android 6 marshmallow use easy and intuitive it was really fun
Some device developed serious games easily and not get stuck in them, even here the picture again stunning
This 5.5-inch screen experience.

great leightweight phone with really thin bezels.

thin bezels ( so the phone is not much bigger than it's screen, perfect )
the one button on the bottom is if you are used to it, really great, so great i ordered again a elephone at Gearbest :)
lightweigt... it's really not heavy which is also great
really thin, it fits just PERFECT in your hand
has fingerprint sensor but i don't use that, i don't want to share my fingerprint with google :)
i don't know if this phone was pre-rooted or not, if not, it was easy to root :p
nice camera, pretty fast
very decent GPS ( not all chinese smartphones have good working gps antenna's )

i installed apex launcher and HD widgets so the pictures of the phone don't look like the out of the box phone ;) ( HD widgets is the clock and weatherforcast ) menu en buttons are FILA theme from apex launcher and the Agenda app, is the simple calendar app

Suggestion

maybe the batterylife ? but i'm not a gamer or a smartphone addict, so for me the battery lasts 3 days :)
bigger battery would also be bigger weight.. and this one has perfect balance of both ( so it's again a pro instead of a con :p )

Mixed feelings after a year of usage (Android 6, 7 and Eragon 7)

The P9000 came with quite good hardware for its time:
- HelioP10 (now outdated)
- 4GB RAM
- 32GB ROM
- (pure) Android 6,
- 13MP Sony-camera with PDAF and Laser-Autofokus
- 8MP front-camera,
- USB-C-3.0
- NFC
- QI-charging
- Fingerprint-sensor
- excellent display.

The built-quality is very good and the phone looks terrific (without a case).
The main-camera is quite good (now), and the laser-autofocus is working well (now).
QI-charging is a very nice feature.
On MY phone, the NFC was fully functional, but...
Elephone's choice to go with a pure Android was good, but...
Battery-life is excellent (now), but...

Suggestion

- lately the "launcher3" has been abused as adware by elephone
- fingerprint-scanner is usable only after reboot, degrades with sleep-mode
- performance of the P10/4GB/32GB is quite bad
- batterylife is excellent only because performance is so bad
- NFC is usually not usable for mobile-payment
- P9000 is not approved for safety-net -> no android-pay

Damn good for the price!

The best and most specs for any smartphone in this price range
its fast, very fast!
after some app changes its pretty damn near perfect
beautiful display
battery life
customization out of the box
comes with a clean install of android 6.0
atleast one major update every month, means Elephone really does support this phone well
light, not very large, and stylish looking, the phone looks far more expensive than it is
NO fake sensors on this phone! its loaded with them!
wireless charging, even tho some sites say it doesn't support it, it DOES
very good and accurate NFC coil build in

Suggestion

the camera app, fixed that by installing open camera, now i can film in 4K!
the light sensor doesn't know what to do half of the time
4G antenna could be a little stronger, will probably be fixed soon with an update
fingerprint scan only works on a dry, clean finger, and i mean -clean- finger
speakers could be a bit more higher fidelity

optional flip case doesn't hold very well, despite looking pretty smart
